The water bearer of Vedic astrology, ruled by Saturn. In Jyotish, Kumbha carries the archetype of the visionary – the one who holds knowledge and pours it outward for others. Two round Amethysts sit in hand-finished bezels. In Ratna Shastra, Amethyst is associated with clarity of mind, spiritual insight, and the stilling of mental turbulence.

Stone note: Amethyst is the traditional Western birthstone for Aquarius. The classical Jyotish gemstone for Kumbha, ruled by Saturn, is blue sapphire (Neelam).
